Lead to Grow
This year, our guiding motto is “Lead to Grow” a call to action and a philosophy that encourages each of us to lead with vision, integrity, and heart. Leadership is not confined to titles; it’s about inspiring action, uplifting others, and creating a ripple effect of positive change. When we lead, whether in our clubs, our communities, or in service — we naturally pave the way for growth: in membership, in service quality, and in collective impact.
“Make Your Mark” is the theme for the Lionistic year 2025-26 for Lions Clubs International District 322B1.
Lions club serves as a connector to the world due to it’s humanitarian services. Our members are spread across the globe to help those in need. With our roots tracing back in history , we thrive to serve mankind in the best of our abilities. We lions believe that together we can go a long way in serving millions of those who are less fortunate than us.
Join us to become a connector to serve humanity for a higher purpose !
District 322B1 Newsletter
Dear Lion Leaders,
Warm greetings and heartfelt wishes as we begin our journey together in this Lionistic Year 2025–26!
It is truly a privilege and honor to serve as the District Governor of this vibrant, dynamic, and service driven district — Lions International District 322B1. As we embark on a historical year, I am filled with deep gratitude for the trust you have placed in me and great excitement for what we will accomplish together.
🌍 Mission 1.5 – Growing the Pride
A key focus this year is to give strong momentum to Mission 1.5, Lions International’s ambitious initiative to grow our global membership to 1.5 million. Growth is not just a number — it’s about welcoming new hearts and hands into our movement, expanding our reach, and ensuring sustainability for the generations to come.
I urge each club and every Lion to actively engage in this mission. Let us reach out to passionate individuals, to youth, to families and show them what it means to be part of something greater than ourselves. Let us share the joy of giving and the fulfillment that comes from serving with love and humility.
🦁 A Moment of Pride
“It is indeed a matter of great pride and honor for our district and country that International President Lion A.P. Singh is one of our own members from our district. This fills us with immense pride and distinction.”
He has recognized our commitment to service, leadership development, and our collective energy in making a difference. This acknowledgment from the highest office of Lions International is not just an honor — it is a testament to your efforts, your dedication, and the unity we uphold as a district.
Let us take inspiration from his leadership and continue to be a shining example of Lionism in action. Let us uphold the values he champions — Service from the Heart, Global Unity, and Community Impact.
🤝 Together, We Will Soar
As we move forward, let us remember that every small act of service counts. Every new member adds strength. Every leader creates change. Let us support one another, lift each other, and grow together — not just in numbers, but in vision, values, and visibility.
This year, I encourage every Lion in our district to:
✅ Take up leadership roles, however big or small
✅ Embrace innovation in service projects
✅ Foster harmony and team spirit
✅ Stay connected, informed, and inspired
✅ Live the motto — Lead to Grow
Thank you once again for your trust, support, and shared commitment to the Lions movement. Let us write a new year of excellence for District 322B1 with passion in our hearts and purpose in our actions.
With Lionistic love and warm regards,
Lion Manju Chamaria

THE IMPORTANCE OF BLOOD DONATION
One unit of donated blood can help save lives of more than one person. Everyday thousands of people would die if others do not donate their blood. Who knows you or a member of your family may need the gift of blood one day.
Who can Donate Blood?
Age-between 17-65 years.
Weight -minimum acceptable weight is 50 Kg.
Individual with no history of any viral hepatitis.
Individual with no history of drug abuse.
At least eight weeks have elapsed since the last donation.
What is Aphaeresis?
Aphaeresis is the process of removing a specific component of the blood, such as platelet, and returning the remaining components, such as Red Blood Cells and Plasma, to the donor. This process allows more of one particular part of the blood to be collected than could be separated from an unit of Whole Blood. Aphaeresis is also performed to collect Plasma (liquid part of the blood) and Granulocytes (White Blood Cells).
The Aphaeresis donation procedure takes longer than Whole Blood donation. A Whole Blood donation takes about 10-20 minutes to collect the blood, while an Aphaeresis donation may take about 1-2 hours.
Aphaeresis donation
Selected donors are invited to a clinic on a programmed Schedule to donate their plasma for production use only.
How can I donate my blood?
You can give blood in Donor Centers. You can refer to the nearest Blood Bank and register as a voluntary donor. It’s a quick and step-by-step process. It takes about one hour.
- Step One : Registration. You will be asked to fill a registration form.
- Step Two: Complete medical screening. A techniian will take your vital signs and ask you questions about your general health and lifestyle in a private setting. All blood banks have their established stringent guidelines that donors must meet. It is during this process that you may be temporarily or permanently deferred. All information remains confidential.
- Step Three: Prepare for your blood donation. A physician will clean your arm and use a sterilized needle. Each needle is used only once and then discarded. There is no chance of contracting AIDS or any other communicable disease from donating blood.
- Step Four: Relax for minimum of 10 minutes after donating your blood. During this time, you should take plenty of fruit juices and other liquids in order to raise your blood sugar and replenish your fluids.
- Step Five : Donate again!
- You may give the gift at an interval of minimum three months subject to health condition.
